I received a recognition award at work today for going beyond the scope of my duties and helping shut down a company infringing on our IP.
Went out for the first time in months tonight and saw the band the Velcro Pygmies at Sammy T's Music Hall. The Velcro Pygmies are a great 80's cover band playing alot of glam rock such as Van Halen, Bon Jovi, and Guns 'n Roses. Of course there were plenty of single beautiful women there.
Friends, comments, education, amusement: what's been the best thing to happen to you on Vox so far?
Well since I just joined Vox yesterday, not much has happened since then.
What are the things in life that you're truly passionate about?

Well it used to be my music, and to some extent it still is. Lately, I've just been too busy to play. I've been doing some type of musical performance since I was 3, or at least that's what my mom says. So that would give me 23 years of music. First starting with the violin, then to piano. I dropped both of those instruments before I started middle school started playing the sax, both classical and jazz, through college. Now, though, I've stopped playing the sax and am trying to learn to play the electric guitar. I got a great guitar from my dad. It's a 1979 Les Paul Custom, and I'm sure it plays like a dream. I just suck at it right now. Unfortunately, work has absorbed most of my time lately. Of course, I've been singing since forever.
Now though, I guess you could say that I'm trying to find my passion.
